Shame on you sony! Bluray faked

Well the 10 year anniversary bluray party was a smash supposedly, with the brand new bluray equiped 17″ vaio’s sporting video playing of the house of flying daggers bluray content as apparent from the open bluray cases… Well turns out the snoops over at gearlog clicked the “open” button on the bluray drive to discover a wonderful little DVD+R. LOL so all the fans around yelling “wow thats so crisp so beautiful, wow” can pretty much just go grab a dvd and watch it LOL. See this is where i have previously voiced my concern bluray and hddvd’s quality of video difference even on HD displays is so small its hard to justify the extremely high costs especially on the bluray side (the vaios i believe are gonna go for 3500-4000$). So if in the end a DVD+R disc can fool people into thinking its bluray then why get bluray? Shame on you Sony…

Whats even more funny about this situation is the fact that sony is forcing people to adopt bluray via the sony PSP and the vaio laptops as is there normal motto (for examples see PSP and UMD format) but in the end they themselves apparently cant even get their hands on the actual bluray discs LOL.
