Seems the boys over at Bink found a little irregularity in notepad. Quite an interesting bug actually…
1. Open Notepad
2. Type ‘AAAA BBB CCC DDDDD’ (or any other 4-3-3-5 letter combination)
3. Save the document, and close notepad
4. Open the saved file
The resulting text has been turned into Unicode
Very interesting to say the least something to show off to friends that you’re an uber geek next time your at their house… Note it happens on Vista as well as XP… so it hasn’t been fixed in the latest windows releases even.
