Eurogamer breaks the news from Capcom that we’ve all been wanting to hear: a demo for mad zombieslashing game Dead Rising will pop up on Xbox Live Marketplace at 11am this morning, and we have a reliable witness reports that it is available right now if you’re not in Mexico, Germany, Australia, New Zealand or Asia.
The demo is limited to 15 minutes of playtime, and will set you back a whopping 1014MB of harddisk space, but it does allow you to freely roam in a full section of the mall so it’s to be expected it takes up a lot of space. We don’t have any other details yet like setting or missions, but we’ll update this post as more info becomes available.
Dead Rising is set for release August 8 in the US of A and September 15 in Europe, and we know for sure regrettably that it is not region-free.
