Xboxygen has new Army of Two scans/screens. Army of Two is a squad based tactical third person shooter based in the near future. Oh boy! Another one? Well, this one’s a little different. Your ’squad’ is two people (you and your NPC) instead of 3 or 4. To complete missions you’ll have to have your buddy with you. The scans are a little grainy, but they’ll work.
Army of Two throws gamers into hot spots ripped from current day headlines where they will utilize unique two-man strategies and tactics while seamlessly transitioning between playing with intelligent Partner AI (PAI) and a live player. When one man is not enough, it will take an army of two to fight through war, political turmoil and a conspiracy so vast it threatens the entire world.
As you guys know i’m super psyched about this game, from what i’ve heard the PAI is really coming along great! And the fact that it’s the first game ever to rely so heavily on co-op playing is great, the whole fact that i can play with the PAI, and at any time have a friend drop in to take over for the PAI is great. Then theirs the fact that the PAI is voice controlled and it’s AI acts human and gets frustrated and angry etc is just a touch of brilliance from the designers and if the screenshots are anything to judge by we’ve got some good co-op coming to us very soon :)
