WTF, this just in, apparently people worst fears are now confirmed true, the sixaxis (i refuse to capitalize it) will be sold with a NONREPLACEABLE battery, what does this mean for gamers, well a few things, unlike with the 360 you can’t have an extra battery pack or extra batterys waiting on a charger and remain wireless for long gaming sessions or incase you forgot to charge one of them, but more importantly this makes the sixaxis fall into one of the biggest negatives seen on the ipod, when a battery dies, or eventually stops holding its charge it will be time to throw the controller itself away not just a battery.
So first the controllers uncomfortable, the triggers to slippery, and it feels cheap, not to mention the loss of rumble, and now we get the news that we’re stuck with builtin batterys. Whats coming next???
