Seems that with only 400k units being shipped out this christmas to the US best buy isn’t just going to sit back and let the customer walk away after the first 10 or so ps3′s are sold out … nope if someone asks for a ps3 and they are out of them the best buy rep will show off a xbox360 deal for this christmas that comes with 3 games instead of the ps3 with no games.
I can almost forsee many other companys besides best buy using this type of advertising technique… i mean why loose a game system sale because Sony screwed you over… nope instead they’lll end up pushing the 360 in a small bundle… Personally i can already see this bolstering 360 sales this christmas, Especially if those 3 games being offered happen to include, gears of war or viva pinata or the dozen other games getting released for this christmas.
