When I was done with high school, I immediately jumped into work, something I somewhat regret because well, i’d have rather had a few certificates atleast under my belt maybe A+ or MCSE before i started working full time but hey life throws curve balls sometimes. For a while i didn’t realize that things like e learning were available especially not for a wide variety of areas but apparently capella has a pretty large library of e learning courses so perhaps I’m still not to late.
The school has some amazing staff, one of which recently even coauthored a book on appreciative coaching. Its quite the intersting book, and just shows the kind of thinking at capella. Sara Orem the staffer that helped author the book on how people and groups flourish when they focus on ideals, achievements and practices. They focus on the positive questioning and mindfulness that acknoledge the strengths of each of the individuals envolved, it’s a form of positive thinking of such that has people focus on the good rather than the limitations or problems.
After reading about her book, and her role at capella, it really builds on how great it is that a school like this exists, i mean offering 82 graduate and undergraduate specializations as well as 16 certificate programs is definitly no joke. I haven’t found pricing out yet, but from the sounds of things it might be worth it especially if i can hunker down and actually concentrate to get it done :)
