Well apparently, not only is the iPhone unlocked now via the latest round of hardware hacks, but some crazy guy found a way to complete the entire unlocking WITHOUT breaking the iphones warranty! He basically constructs his own little homemade tool to get the job done, and while the “not breaking warranty” part sounds good, that does take into account you being able to open the iPhone without leaving a trace that you opened the case.
But beyond that this method does in fact seem alot safer and less scarry than trying to solder some tiny pins on a PCB. Your phone already needs to be Jailbreaked/SSH Enabled/With BinkIt installed, for you to begin the process but the guy over at steve-jobs.com has pretty much broken the entire process down step by step so pretty much any idiot can now unlock their iPhone, the question remains though, how many people will?
Theirs nothing like a Idiot proof guide to cracking one of the most coveted and hyped phones. Ok it might be easy enough a 9 year old can do it, but the fact is its pretty darn easy a few peices of software, some wire and some needles and you’re almost their :)
