Logitech brings on the laptop sexiness

Ok ever since i saw the first DiNovo, Logitech has been deemed in my mind the god of sexy keyboards and peripherals (for best performing and most durable i’d have to side with Microsoft peripherals). Well after the DiNovo and DiNovo 2 I couldn’t imagine how they’d be able to top it. Then again they really do need to start getting their act together especially if Microsoft ever releases that Uber wicked keyboard with the fiberoptic lighting and wireless charger etc.

Well Logitech has released something that is just quite as Uber Sexy as a product can get, It’s the Logitech Alto Cordless Notebook stand. Now before I even drop the specs or the picture (below) let me say something, Unlike the commercial first party docks that can run upwards of 400-500$ this sexy ass device is retailing next month for $99.99 yes you heard that right, and if you want powered USB ports theirs an extra $19.99 for the external power supply.

Alto_Cordless_1 Now beyond just looking like the most wicked setup EVER, this baby comes with a completely wireless keyboard, as well as the USB loving dock that holds your laptop at a more erogonic viewing angle so that you don’t have to hunch over while working with your laptop. Unfortunately their is 1 down side that i find quite upsetting. The package doesn’t come with a Wireless Mouse, which I find quite stupid, why provide a solution that folds down all nice and tidy into a little space to be mobile, and include the wireless keyboard but not a mouse it just doesn’t seem logical to me.

The entire set does however get Logitech’s normal shiny and ultra sheik presentation, and while it doesn’t include a mouse, for $99.99 you really can’t go wrong for a Laptop Stand and Wireless keyboard combo deal can you? Especially not from Logitech.

Update: The boys over at hardwaregeeks seem to think this comes with a wireless mouse as well, though they haven’t gotten their review piece yet. If this is the case than that just became probably the best possible thing to spend your hundred dollar bill on, well that’s if you already have bioshock :)
