We knew that people were waiting for the Xbox360 to get it’s first price drop and with the 50$ price drop announced on August 8th the 360 saw a pretty big jump of over 263% moving the Xbox360 to #11 of all electronics. While at the same time the Elite and Core both also saw a jump in their sales at Amazon. What’s interesting though is that Forza 2 after the price drop also saw a jump launching it from the #94 spot all the way to the #1 sales spot.
It’s quite an interesting thing if you think about it a 50.00$ price drop is pretty much enough to more than double sales of the Xbox360. Can you imagine over the next few months as the big games start releasing with the 360 at it’s lower price point. The big boys like COD4, Assassin’s creed and of course Halo 3.
