Well the hunt continues for somewhere to honeymoon, lets just say the last idea of Australia was a big one, in that it was a big fat no after we saw how much plane tickets were from here to Australia. We realistically had to reassess our possibilities the fact is neither of us make enough to go “anywhere” so we’re looking at places a little closer to home. At least in the # of plane hops to get their, that’s where this idea came from, Las Vegas! It’s a low fair flight, it’s definitely not like anywhere we’ve been before, and as long as we don’t go nuts gambling it should be relatively low cost.
Not to mention from what I’ve seen theirs some spectacular Las Vegas Hotels that I just never knew they had such great deals. I found this out using realtravel’s site, probably one of the coolest little travel sites I’ve managed to hunt down during my planning and research. They give you the by location cheapest room rates at the major and minor hotels, all plotted on a Google map, and on top of that they have instant “check rate” links to find the cheapest flights and information from the leading sites like orbitz and priceline. I’m not normally impressed with travel sites but this one hands down has made looking around A LOT EASIER. And even if Las Vegas and their wicked hotels isn’t where we decide to go to they’ve got a huge list of other locations and destinations to try (along with several editors picks that might help influence my decisions a bit which I definitely don’t mind considering how unsure and lost I am)
