THIS WAS HORRIBLE, after all the hype and people looking forward to… 50 cent’s face said it all “what the f*ck!”, even Diddy had the “Making the Band” face of what the hell are you doing. She was jiggly and definitely not fit, yet she was dressed up in panties and a bra showing off what could only be explained as a figure that was let go. The days of Britney having a toned body and sexy moves are gone, then again that first part we should have known from the TMZ pictures of Britney with cottage cheese thighs on the street. Yet here she is on stage headlining for the MTV VMA’s in underwear.
Oh and no I didn’t make a mistake her “moves” are gone as well, her dancing was abysmal, even if we forgive the fact that she was horribly lip syncing the song to the point it was if she wasn’t even trying. The fact that someone that was supposedly one of the pop princesses with her “sexy moves” was on stage dancing like a chubby high school student trying to replicate someone else’s dance steps. She was offbeat, dancing with absolutely zero and I am not over exaggerating ZERO energy, I could have sworn I was looking at a really bad Britney impersonator attempting to get her grove on, and failing miserably.
Looking back at the performance I wonder if people think that maybe it would have been better to just hold out for a pair of Hannah Montana tickets LOL. If this VMA opening was Britney’s “come back” then I must agree with Sara Silverman when she said Britney’s a 25 year old who’s already accomplished everything she EVER will!
UPDATE: Us reports that Britney J. was so upset about her flabbily frightful lip-not-quite-synching that she lost it not long after, though no word if it might’ve had anything to do with Sarah Silverman’s zinger — calling her kids “the most adorable mistakes” as well.
Pretty much all reaction has been similar to the line taken by the New York Post, which wrote, “[Brit] jiggled like Jell-O … [she] didn’t seem to care that she danced like she had a pant load [or] that her lips weren’t synched …”
