As my readers probably know I’m a bit of a fanatic for far off destinations, originally the interest came from the fact that we are currently looking for somewhere to go honeymooning after we get married in July. But lately me and my fiancee have been talking and we both have the same opinion that in the future we want to take trips to far off countries. You see both of our families have been pretty closed off not leaving the “west”. Me personally beyond Florida and the Caribbean i haven’t been anywhere. She at least has been to Venezuela, the US, Nicaragua and Curacao. But as you can see once again it’s all on this side of the world.
Now before I go giving off the wrong concept, I’m not talking about going to Iraq or Iran or you know… non-stable locations. Hell I don’t even think china/japan are options from the stories I’ve seen on the news. But the fact is theirs quite a bit of countries over on that side of the world. One of the big ones I’ve been looking into more and more since my obsession with Australia died down a bit, is Dubai. I’ve found quite a few dubai hotel apartment systems that have some spectacular looking villas.
My only real concern is that when you go and get one of the Dubai Furnished Villas they seem to be quite expensive on a daily and weekly basis so I can’t for see us taking a long trip but the fact is any vacation will only be about a week or so. And if we’re going around the world to a country to visit Dubai seems to have some wicked setups, the apartments I’ve seen for rent are well… for lack of a better phrase fit for royalty.
For the majority of offers I’ve been seen online they are mostly self catering apartments in dubai but I’ve also seen a hand full of full service rentals that are even more luxurious and I think if we do decide to go that’s where our money will be. If I’m going to pay a good bit of money anyway you darn bet I’m going to be weighted on while I’m on vacation. Realistically though it depends on how much money we decide we’re willing to spend when we start taking our vacations and exploring the world. But so far Dubai/Sweden/Australia/England/Italy are all major players on my list of places I want to visit. So however we can budget the trip would be spectacular. I guess in the long run it comes down to planning and saving before we go on any trips. Thank god for the Internet eh :)
