Microsoft Hardware's new keyboard treat

General | Hardware | Microsoft, Digg

Seems Microsoft's hardware devision has been hard at work. Not much is known about the new "Ultimate Keyboard" but from the look of the initial details this keyboard may just be thee hardware to have when vista launches. Both an on keyboard pointing device for lap usage and a mouse, fully bluetooth connected, what appears to be a marrage of media buttons and content. What's very new is the the fact that the Ultimate Keyboard also is backlit (you know kind alike the powerbooks that everyone alway said they wanted for a desktop keyboard HEHE) Not only does the backlight detect ambient lighting and change it's brightness to improve visability, it also apparently has the ability to detect when you've stepped away and disable the lighting to save on battery power! But as i said details are pretty sketchy but when Microsoft does release details, i'll definitly be sure to let you know, right after i order mine! It's great to see Microsofts hardware division known for awesome peripherals putting out such a cutting edge peiece of hardware!
