General | Microsoft | Xbox360,
You know i heard from a few reviews that COD3 ended up a bit more exciting on the 360 with some better effects but it seems that somebudy seemed to overlook something. It's something in the multiplayer, no it's not the number of players its 24 player online on both consoles the ps3 and 360... so then what is it (besides choppy framerates on the ps3 version), no theirs something else ... don't know yet?
On multiplayer, one single PS3 can bring in... 1 player to the 24 player match, on the other hand, on Xbox Live a COD3 console can have 4 local players all join a multiplayer match. This isn't just a gameplay feature thats better on the 360 version, but whats even more important its a performance difference, on the 360 the unit is rendering 4 independent view ports with all different views, while the ps3 only deals with 1 player onscreen. And to think, the ps3 version has been reported to have framerate issues even with only needing to deal with 1 local player view.
Kinda makes you wonder if the 360's doing the 24 players better than its ps3 counterpart, i wonder what the 360 could have done for Resistence had it been a 360 title ;) Anyways back to gears and viva pinata for me :)
