Ok one of the things I’ve found extremely annoying lately since I started gaming online is the fact that since my accounts are mostly US based it’s nearly impossible to fund the Online casinos with funds. As their is that huge ban on online gambling in the US even though I’m technically in the US and most of the Casinos online today aren’t based in the US either just the sheer fact of having the cash in the US makes it a problem to deal with.

The fact that traditionally USA players are frowned upon at most casinos it’s a bit odd to see a site like US Players Welcome that was actually advertising USA online casinos. Ya theirs still restrictions when it comes to the specific states but it’s an interesting bit of news for me since my accounts are in a state that is allowed according to the site. Anyway’s I’ll keep this short the fact is it’s a interesting bit of news for the online gamblers that are from the US… the only time it really sucks to be from the US actually lol.

I mean most casinos even the ones you visit in person are pretty much the same games. But once again it’s a casino that’s offering up to 888$ matching bonus for new members.

My question is how do they manage to match that much money, I mean i know in casino games the odds are stacked against the player even in games like roulette where their are some pretty strong strategies. But still to match almost a thousand dollars seems un sustainable, yet more and more casinos are offering matching bonuses from 500$ all the way up to 1000$. What’s funny is that as far as i checked the blackjack rushmore offers is about the same as what is offered by a casino that I can go to locally here in the Caribbean, yet with rushmore I get a massive deposit bonus.

So why would I go to a local real casino if online casinos and gaming spots hell even betfair offers big time matching bonuses and incentives to join their casino. Also online your not restricted to only one either so you can take advantage of the incentives at multiple sites… I mean yes, a sit down casino might have the atmosphere (though I kind of prefer my 47″ LCD), oh and don’t forget the real casinos give you free drinks… but that is no where near the same as an 888$ Matching incentive! Maybe that’s the reason that the US is stopping Credit cards and Paypal from working with online casinos from US accounts… their afraid it will eat into all that cash they make in Las Vegas.

But as far as bonuses go in the world of virtual casinos I really must admit that Joyland has one of the more impressive of bonus plans, with bonuses as high as 850 $/€/£.

I’m quite impressed with the quality of the site as it was quicker than some of the other casino sites that I’ve had experience with in the past. When your playing casino games with real money the fact that the games respond when you tell them to do something instantly is quite important. The website itself is a general casino style layout, you’ve probably seen them before, but Joyland’s games themselves get the job done quite nicely and as I said when I played their wasn’t a hit of that nasty Web 2.0 lag we sometime see.

Yes I do play games beyond just the average blackjack and backgammon beyond what you may believe from my history of posting in concern to my online games. I find quite a bit of the older style vegas casino games fun. The odd thing is being a programmer I think I’m more cautious of where I play because i realize easy it would be for an online casino programmer to tilt the favor of games like the slot machines in his favor. I mean yes the good casinos have accreditations that they don’t do naughty things but then again as I said being a programmer I know how easy it is to make a change while no ones looking. But for the most part it seems that the online sites seem to play pretty fair I’ve had my share of good wins as well as losses, as with real world casinos some sites just like some real casinos tend to give me a bit of good luck while others really hate me.

I found a new site by the name of Gammon-Fortune for those of you that play backgammon it’s about as solid as the other sites I reviewed previously for playing backgammon online. They all seem to follow the same principals but their scripts and presentation have differed quite a bit from one to the other as I’ve been looking around at the different offerings. Gammon-Fortune has a bit of a … well… they try to make you feel like your going to get rich, even though it’s highly doubtful you ever would, but then again isn’t that the point of all casino games :)
