You know I debated whether I should have really posted this but as I’m still in the progress of moving and well it’s not exactly 100% gadget news. But then I checked my stats and realized something, if their’s 1 thing that my visitors like it’s hot chicks and gadgets. I mean to date after a year my most popular post still remains the one about one of the gizmodo gadget girls that had the macbook.

Well the Hot Chick Gadget news of the day comes from Gizmodo again, they seem to know all the hot girls who like gadgets LOL. You see the story starts a long while back when apple released the iPod shuffle, the really tiny one lots of people including myself asked the question “how long till someone swallows that da*n thing”.

Well let me introduce you to my new favorite gadget girl :) Heather Holiday, from the Coney Island Circus. She’s the Coney Island Circus sword swallower can you see where this story is going? Not only is she damn hot, but she has no gag reflex hence the sword swallow and well … as the story goes, iPod shuffle swallowing :). Realistically the iPod shuffle should have been a no-contest I mean she swallows 36″ swords on a daily basis.

So the question is did this gadget girl manage to swallow the 1.8 x 0.7 x 0.3-inch iPod shuffle? Did she get to listen to some rocking tunes from inside her esophogus? Well their’s a video below that showcases her attempt at it, definitly worth watching. But the sad truth is no she didn’t get to swallow it, you see the sword swallowing technique she uses isn’t so much swallowing the gadget in a sexy manner, it’s actually just allowing gravity to drop the sword/iPod down her throat.

With the iPod shuffle weighting in at only 0.38 ounces or 10.7 grams the shuffle just wasn’t cooperating in sliding down and being controlled by her esophogus muscles. I mean sure the spoon/stick could push it in a bit but after that gravity just couldn’t slide it down. She says that eventually she might be able to do it after some more practice but right now she couldn’t she promises to come back and show the world when she does manage it but for now we have a pretty wicked video of a chick making a great attempt, and a story about a chick with no gag reflex that could have probably easily been rewritten into a story for a porn site with a few key words changed LOL ;)

One thing I do disagree with gizmodo’s assessment is that they say this proves the iPod shuffle is swallow proof because it was sword swallower proof so you shouldnt worry about it. The think is theirs a difference between controlled swallowing and throwing something in your mouth and gulping it down, she might not have been able to swallow a jaw breaker either but i’m pretty sure theirs a few people that have choked their brains out on it. Not to mention tiny toys that kids swallow on a daily basis that she probably couldnt have control-swallowed. So I say while it might be wicked to see a chick try it, this is definitly NOT something for anyone to try.

Ok now if the Porsche guys were like the mafia then Google Street View team would really be looking for a Chicago injury lawyer because they’re just getting all up in Porsche’s secret business goings on. I mean a while back it was big news when we discovered that the street view cameras had mistakenly recorded some guy pissing in public behind a car (but blurred his face, thanks Google privacy). Well it looks like Google’s privacy filters missed something else, this time it’s Porsche’s next generation cars that seem to have had their privacy erased. The picture seen above shows several updated cars pre-covering namely “Boxters, Caymans and even the 911″”.

I mean if a Google street view truck can drive by a secret set of pre-release cars and just record them and publish them for EVERYONE to see. It really makes you wonder if that privacy filter that blurs faces is really enough to actually be considered “Privacy”. I mean if it can catch half naked people, and secret projects it’s odd… really makes me wonder how long it will be until Street View takes a drive through the Mojave Desert, i hear theirs an interesting airstrip down their that might be interesting to grab some pictures of.

Some where on some where docked, others were rebooted and now when they reach the loading screen and the bar is filled that’s the end of it it just sticks right their. You might as well go take your best diet pill and wait to loose some weight or maybe go count the stars cause it’s not going any further from what we can see.

As it’s still very early in the morning and most of Microsoft is still sleeping or hasn’t reached work yet theirs no official word or a solution to get the Zune fixed. But knowing Microsoft and how they helped the Xbox360 customers who had issues it might be interesting to see how fast and just how exactly they solve this new Zune issue. It really makes me wonder what’s going on with Microsoft’s hardware division, they make great software but they keep letting these single bugs slip in that end up being huge disasters. I

Luckily the new second generation Zune’s are still all functioning properly, but then again it doesn’t exactly speak of peoples assurance in Microsoft hardware and it’s definitely going to hurt Microsoft hardware fans trust. I mean the zune forums are all full of people saying basically what you’ve read above. Theirs much speculation that this might be part of the Y2K9 issue (a derivative of the whole Y2K bug fiasco that scared the world) The only issue with this theory is that if it was an issue with the internal clock flipping to 2009, it would be tomorrow not today, I mean at this point today is the 31st of 2008 not 2009.

Ok while it sounds awesome as it has to do with skydiving but come on what kind of award is texting speed while falling from 10’s of thousand of feet in the sky. Personally I’m more concerned with the guys pulling this stunt slamming into steel buildings or you know power lines and stuff.

Apparently it’s more a stunt than anything else the fact they equipped the team with a Samsung Propel, Alias, Gravity, Rant and Messenger and went through 2 jumps texting like lightning as fast as they can on them to see if these news are somehow faster than any other skydiving text phone ever. But it begs me to ask the question would this really be a show of how awesome their phones are or is it more showing off how awesome the skydivers can text. Theres no results yet as the Guiness World Record people are currently breaking down the video footage to see if the record was broken.

Imagine a tiny wireless device that can sniff out the keystrokes without even having to be in contact with the keyboard. Well the Security and Cryptography Lab at Switzerland’s EPFL finally managed to eavesdrop on the tiny electromagnetic radiation that gets shot off every time a keystroke is struck on those crappy wireless keyboards.

In total their are 4 attacks that are used to listen in one of which was an old previously published method to breaking the vulnerability open for exploitation. In total eleven keyboards were cracked ranging from 2001 to present with both PS2, USB and even lapboard keyboards falling for at least one of the methods. No this would be interesting if it was a tiny pda sitting next to the pc or near a KVM or something of that nature, but these hacks were so much more. Able to work through walls, up to 65 feet away and analyzing a wide swath of the electromagnetic spectrum to get all of the results. With wireless keyboards already being hacked in their own ways, and many people that are highly security conscious sticking to wired keyboards it seems the only way to keep your hotmail password truly secure is to type it in while locked inside fort knox.
