Argh, my ceiling fan needs to go!

I moved into my latest appartment a few months ago, it’s a nice small one bedroom great for me, but somethings annoyed me since I moved in here, my ceiling fan in the living room turns about 10 revolutions a minute, whats sad is it doesn’t get faster/slower or even turn off, its just stuck like that. So its basically doing nothing but burning electricity 24/7/365, it’s time to rip that little bugger down and replace it.

So today I was off looking for ceiling fans and low and behold I came across farreys, interesting site with a huge selection and after a little while of browsing around I came across some really great looking fans, and there it was you know I love cutting edge lookign stuff and the Cobra just caught my eye i mean 14 degrees of pitch this things gonna be a monster air mover!

It definitly looks like something i’d buy, minka aire fans looks like the ticket for a company producing powerhouse fans. Then again I do recall an old solid aluminum (Really ugly) fan my grandmother had that had a low pitch but that thing spun like a jet engine it turned so fast LOL. The negative to that was I really really don’t feel like dealing with a death trap, and the cobra seems to have a pretty wicked angle on the blades so it shouldn’t have to turn to fast to get the air moving. But then again, my momma always said that hunter fans were the best… hmm choices choices i’ll go with my cobra, sorry mom

For those of you wondering why I’m so worried with a fan… well with electricity down here at nearly US$0.30/kWh lets just say airconditioning is normally switched off, and i’d like a fan thats gonna make the most out of every kW.
